System requirements

RAM: 8 GB minimum; 16 GB or more is comfortable with the AI stages.
Disk: about 1 GB for the app (it includes the AI models) plus space for your projects. A build keeps its tiles inside the project folder.
GPU: not required. The AI stages run on the CPU by default (on Apple Silicon this was measured faster than CoreML for the bundled models).

macOS

Open the .dmg and drag Rotavue to Applications.
The first time, right-click the app and choose Open, then confirm. macOS asks once. If it says the app is “damaged”, clear the download quarantine flag:

Activation

On first launch you can:

Activate with the key from your purchase email, or
Start a free 14-day trial: enter your email and the key is sent to you.

Activation needs an internet connection. After that the app keeps working offline and re-checks your licence in the background; if it cannot reach the server it keeps running on the last check for up to 14 days.

Updates

The app checks for updates and asks before installing. Updates are signed; an update that fails signature verification is refused.
